Send application/json and a secret random Idempotency-Key (32–128 URL-safe characters). First request returns HTTP 402 and PAYMENT-REQUIRED. Pay using x402 v2 exact USDC on eip155:8453; retry identical body/key with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. Retrieve and download with Authorization: Bearer <original key>. Never put keys in URLs.

No macros, HTML, images, remote imports or scripts. PDF fonts support Latin, Cyrillic and CJK; unsupported glyphs return 422. DOCX/XLSX render with installed viewer fonts.

Errors: 400 invalid_input/invalid_json/invalid_key/unsupported_content, 402 payment_required/invalid_payment, 404 not_found, 409 idempotency_conflict/payment_replay, 410 expired, 413 request_too_large/content_too_large/output_too_large, 415 unsupported_media_type, 422 unsupported_glyph/generation failure, 429 rate_limited, 503 not_configured/service_unavailable/file_unavailable. A 202 settling/settlement_unknown response requires polling with the original key; do not pay again.
